ORVIA Voice
Part of ORVIA Overwatch
AI reception, booking, support and operational communications for organisations that cannot afford a missed call — designed, configured and reviewed by people, not switched on out of a box.
Where this is up to, plainly. ORVIA Voice is in build. There is no public demonstration number yet and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What is on this page is the designed service and the launch pricing, so you can decide now whether it is worth a conversation. When the demonstration line is live, this page will say so and you will be able to ring it yourself.
What it covers
Six lines of work, one system
Start with one. Add the others without changing platform, retraining anyone, or explaining your organisation twice.
ORVIA Reception
Answers inbound calls, handles the questions you are asked fifty times a week, takes caller details properly and routes the rest to the right person.
ORVIA Booking
Checks availability, offers appointments and confirms the next step, so the caller leaves the conversation knowing what happens now.
ORVIA Sales
Responds to a new enquiry in seconds rather than hours, qualifies it against your criteria and puts it in front of whoever can actually close it.
ORVIA Contact Centre
Higher volumes, several lines and approved outbound workflows, with the whole contact history in one place.
ORVIA Support
Gives approved information from your own material, and escalates anything that needs a person instead of guessing.
ORVIA Operations
Out-of-hours cover, duty-manager routing and structured operational contact, so the night call reaches somebody who can act.
How it is built
The work happens before it answers a single call
Discovery
We listen to how your calls actually go. Who rings, what they want, what goes wrong now, and which calls must never be handled by a machine.
Design
We write the conversation flows, the escalation rules and the boundaries, from your own policies and materials. You approve every one before it goes anywhere near a caller.
Test
We run it against real scenarios, including the awkward ones, and change it until it behaves. Nothing goes live on a hope.
Review
A named person reviews how it is performing, and adjusts it. A system nobody reviews drifts, and drifting is how callers get let down.
Three ordinary days
What it looks like in practice
| The call | What happens now | What happens with Voice |
|---|---|---|
| A daughter rings a care home at 7pm to ask how her mother is | Rings out. She rings again at nine, and again in the morning. | Answered, identity and reason recorded, passed straight to the duty manager with her number and the question already written down. |
| An enquiry comes in at 11pm from your website | Read at nine the next morning. By then they have rung two competitors. | Called back within minutes, qualified against your criteria, and in your inbox with the answers you need before you dial. |
| A member of staff rings out of hours, unsure who to contact | Voicemail, or a mobile number that changed six months ago. | Routed by your own escalation rules to the person actually on call, with the time and the reason logged. |
The boundary
What ORVIA Voice will never do
This is the part most providers leave off the page. We put it near the top, because in care, education and safeguarding it is the whole question.
It never triages a safeguarding concern
Artificial intelligence cannot interpret capacity, coercion or consent. Voice takes a name, a number and a reason, and hands straight to a named human being.
It never pretends to be a person
It identifies itself as an ORVIA assistant. Callers are told what they are speaking to, at the start, every time.
It is never the end of a disclosure
If somebody begins to tell it something serious, the job of the system is to get them to a person who can act, quickly — not to ask them one more question.
It makes no clinical or safeguarding decision
It gives approved information from your own material. Judgement stays with your people, which is where accountability already sits.
It does not train models on your callers
Identifiable caller information is not used to train general-purpose models. Retention and access are configured for your organisation, not assumed.
It does not go live in care without a DPIA
Calls in a care setting carry special category data. The data protection impact assessment is completed before the first live call, not after.
Before the prices
Why this costs more than a nine pound chatbot
You can buy AI call answering for under ten pounds a month. We know, because we checked the market before we priced this. It is a fair question and it deserves a straight answer rather than a sales line.
What the cheap products sell you
A blank assistant and a login. You write the script. You decide the escalation rules. You test it, or more often you do not, and the first person to find the gap is a caller. When it meets something it was not set up for, it improvises — and it will improvise about your organisation.
What the setup fee buys
Discovery, conversation design from your own policies, escalation rules written with you, testing against the awkward calls, and a named human reviewing how it behaves once it is running. The professional work is the product. The software is the easy part.
If all you need is a machine to take a message, buy the cheap one — we will tell you that on the call. ORVIA Voice is for organisations where the wrong handling of one call is a serious problem.

Where it sits
Part of a wider system
ORVIA Voice is the communications layer. It is designed to work alongside the rest of what we do, and we will say clearly which parts of that are built and which are not.
ORVIA Overwatch
Human-led independent oversight. The parent system. Live today.
ORVIA Track
Authorised location and operational awareness in the field. In controlled pilot.
ORVIA Voice
Contact, answered and routed. In development, launching with the packages above.
Connection between Voice and the wider operational picture is in development. It is not a feature you would be buying today, and we will not describe it as one.
Why we built it
Every unanswered call is a person who needed something
ORVIA spends its working life reading what happened after something went wrong. A pattern turns up again and again in those records: somebody tried to make contact, and the contact went nowhere.
A family ringing to ask a simple question and getting a voicemail. A member of staff at two in the morning who does not know who to ring. Somebody working up to saying a thing they have never said out loud, who will not ring twice.
That is the problem this was built for. It is also why the boundaries on this page are set where they are. A system that answers instantly and routes wrongly is worse than a ringing phone, because it feels like being heard while nothing actually happens. The measure of ORVIA Voice is not how many calls it answers. It is whether the contact reached the person who could act.
