Safeguarding support at a price you can afford.

ORVIA Foundation is our access arm. It offers practical safeguarding help at low cost — sometimes free — using the same human-led method behind our paid reviews. If money is the reason you cannot ask, start here.

Interim film. A dedicated ORVIA Foundation film is in production — brief saved at projects/orvia-oversight-ltd-*/files/briefs/2026-08-05-foundation-video-brief.md.

Access, belonging and participation — the purpose behind ORVIA Foundation.

Why it exists

Being heard should not depend on being able to pay. ORVIA Foundation exists because the people least able to fund an independent review are often the people who most need one — families, small providers, community groups and individuals facing a decision that will shape a life.

The Foundation offers the same method as our paid reviews at a price built for access rather than commercial recovery.

What it offers

A younger man kneeling to speak at eye level with an older woman using a walking cane in a bright community lounge
Listening session — 45 minutes with an ORVIA practitioner to talk through a concern in plain English. Low cost or free where means require it.
A mixed group of adults, including a wheelchair user, sitting in a circle in a community hall taking notes while an older woman reads from a document
Community learning — open, small-group sessions on safeguarding, evidence and speaking up. Free or pay-what-you-can.
An open oak door into a lit community building at dusk, with a small orange-trimmed welcome sign beside it
Open door contact — write to the Foundation and someone will read it. No portal, no filter, no jargon.
A one-page governance summary and a launch-gate checklist held together with an orange paperclip on an oak desk beside a handwritten notebook
Signposting — honest, written direction to the right route, statutory or otherwise, when the Foundation is not the answer.

What the Foundation is not. It is not a statutory service, an emergency service, a legal advice service or a regulator. It does not hold, delay or replace a statutory referral, and it cannot promise a specific outcome.

Who it is for

Individuals and families who cannot afford a paid review. Small providers and community groups without a compliance budget. Anyone raising a concern that a statutory service has heard but not answered. If you are unsure, ask — we would rather redirect you than turn you away.

Governance

ORVIA Foundation is the social-purpose arm of ORVIA Oversight Ltd, company number 16123685. It is not a separate registered charity and it is not a separate company. Every Foundation matter is delivered by the same human-led ORVIA team under the same governance as our paid work, at a price built for access.

Where a matter needs statutory attention, we say so in writing and point to the right route. The Foundation is independent and non-statutory and does not replace legal, clinical, regulatory or safeguarding authorities.
