What we are
ORVIA Oversight Ltd is an independent evidence and assurance practice. We work with families, care and education providers, and commissioners. We read what you already hold, build a chronology, index and gap analysis, and hand you a written pack you own.
What we are not
We are not a law firm and we give no legal advice. We are not a regulator and hold no statutory power. We are not an advocacy service and we do not speak for you. Being none of those things is what makes an ORVIA review worth putting in front of them.
How ORVIA works
Most problems aren’t completely hidden. They’re just being looked at from the wrong distance.
Put the human at the epicentre, then work outwards through 360 degrees. We look past the single report, incident, allegation or version of events to the person, the evidence, the chronology, the decisions, the environment, the systems, the culture and the relationships around them.
The purpose is not to look harder for wrongdoing. It is to look wider and deeper before deciding what something means. Technology supports that work. Human judgement and accountability remain central to it.
The human
One person, and what actually happened to them. Everything else is context for this, not a substitute for it.
The evidence around them
What was recorded, by whom, when, and what the record does not say.
The people and decisions
Who decided what, on what basis, and whether the reasoning can still be followed.
The environment and systems
The service, the process and the pressures that shaped what was possible on the day.
The 360-degree picture
All of it, set out together, so a reader can see the shape rather than one fragment of it.

Three commitments we do not trade away
Evidence labelled, always
Every statement carries its class, so a reader can tell a document from an account and an account from an inference. No conclusion is presented as stronger than its source.
Three Sides on every position
Your position, the opposing position at its strongest, and the interpreted position on the documents. If we cannot write the second one convincingly, the first one is not ready.
A named human signs
Our platform assembles and structures. A person reads it and puts their name to it. That is the line, and it does not move.
