Cookie Notice

This website sets no cookies

We checked the live site in a clean browser on 31 August 2026. Loading the home page and the legal pages set no cookies at all and wrote nothing to browser storage. There is no analytics, no advertising or remarketing pixel, no profiling and no live chat.

Why there is no consent banner

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, a consent mechanism is required where a site stores information on your device or gains access to information already stored there, unless an exemption applies. This site does neither, so there is nothing to ask you to agree to. A banner that asked for consent to nothing would be misleading, so we have not published one.

What the site does load

• Pages, stylesheets, images and small navigation scripts served from orvia.org.uk itself.
• Two web fonts requested from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to a Google server, which sees your IP address and basic browser information. No cookie is set by that request. We are reviewing whether to serve these fonts from our own domain instead.
• Our hosting provider processes technical information, including your IP address, to deliver pages to you. That is described in the Privacy Notice.

Removed in this release

An older script left on a small number of pages displayed a cookie banner and recorded your choice in browser storage. Because the site sets no cookies, the banner was inaccurate and the storage was unnecessary. Both were removed on 31 August 2026.

If you pay us online

Payments are taken on Stripe's own hosted checkout at buy.stripe.com. That is Stripe's page, not ours, and Stripe sets its own strictly necessary cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud. Nothing on orvia.org.uk tracks you into or out of that page.

If this changes

If ORVIA later adds analytics, advertising technology, embedded video, live chat, a booking widget or a web form, this notice must be rewritten and a compliant consent mechanism must be in place before that technology is switched on. No traffic or audience claim will be published unless it has been verified in production.

Controlling storage in your browser

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Because this site sets none, doing so will not affect how it works.
